Welcome Back :)

Our journey starts today and it is an honour for me to have the opportunity to teach, learn and explore the curriculum and new initiatives with each of you this school year.  This blog will compliment your school agenda as a communication and organizational tool for class assignments and school activities. Items posted within the left side of the blog will be archived after a few days and can be retrieved from the Archives link at the bottom right of the blog.  The items/gadgets on the right side of the blog will be updated as needed.  Some items will remain in view throughout the year.  Special events within the class and school community will also be posted with the right side of this blog.

Class Blog Purpose

The purpose of this blog is to provide students with updates of class activities, timelines and due dates of assigned tasks throughout the week, month and school year.  This blog will showcase activities of student engagement and include links to active discussion via blogs and collaborative engagement within wikis and other Web 2.0 tools.  Links to subject blogs and other sources will be added as students are engaged in a variety of initiatives set up by staff and new challenges they organize themselves.
